 My 8 Favorite Met Gala Looks

    

This year's Met Gala theme is "Karl Lagerfeld; A Line of Beauty" and boy these celebs did not come out to play! Of course there were hits and misses but, c'est la vie. 
    Here are my top 8 best looks, in no particular order:



I like the smooth appearance of the fabric and the cut of the neckline. It's also giving Addams Family.


I'm not too concerned about Mr Rihanna's getup but the upper half of her ensemble caught my eye.  She even removed that part like a jacket, revealing the entire dress.


Is this a whole dress? Is it a black bodice with a long, elegant train attached? It's cute and reminds me a little of Breakfast at Tiffany's.


Game of Thrones? The smoky makeup and cape really set this outfit off.


So Alice in Wonderland. Cardi cleans up nicely for this event.


Jenna Ortega pulled a full Wednesday Addams/Beetlejuice on the Gala carpet.  


This is one of the most understated gowns at the Gala but it works. Minimalist yet still makes a statement.


   The color caught my eye of course, as most attendees chose to wear black and white.  This gown shows off her shoulders and tiny waist.

 This year's awards show was held on Sunday in Los Angeles.  Word on the streets? Many outfits were less than flattering. We try our best not to use the G word over here.  However we saw many cute and stylish outfits, proudly worn by our ladies.   We managed to choose 5 gorgeous red carpet ensembles from BET's event. This dark dress with a flattering neckline managed to turn heads.  Applique was the name of the game for this short number. This dress was our personal favorite, body hugging and with a strategically placed slit. We would have preferred a less translucent look, but this fit was definitely worn with confidence. Review: Creme of Nature Shampoo, Hair Milk & Curl Enhancing Creme

                          I have to admit , these Creme of Nature products have been lifesavers for my hair!  Since I decided to buy these products just for the heck of it, I don't regret my purchases.  These have been my go-to products for a little over two months and I am totally satisfied with the results.     1.  Creme of Nature Moisture & Shine shampoo.  This sulfate - free product lathers up well and rinses out leaving hydrated, clean hair. 2.  Creme of Nature Leave - In Hair Milk.   I apply this after I condition my hair and also as a daily moisturiser. 3.  Creme of Nature Pudding Perfection Curl Enhancing Creme This is the last step in my hairdressing routine.  As the name states, its pudding - like consistency keeps my hair moist so it does not dry out and get crunchy.   The label says it can also be used with heat to stretch out curls but I try to keep heat - styling tools at bay as much as I can.
