Easter at the Market Fashion Event

 The Hotel Normandie was the venue for the very informal  Easter at the Market fashion event.





Some of Trinidad's local designers showcased their most recent pieces as the models glided gracefully down the staircase of the hotel's lobby.

These designers include Ecliff Elie, Delia Alleyne and Lisa See Tai.  The pieces shown ranged from silky pops of color to dark, geometric patterns.

 My time at the show was short, as I had other things to do that day.  However, it was definitely time well spent at a very picturesque location!

    One thing I enjoy about the islands aside from the people and food, is the vibrant colors and design. It looks like you had a good time even though your stay was short.

    Omg! How do you find out about these events? I had absolutely no kinda social life like this before I left trinidad😭Lol Looks great though!

      I have a few fb friends that post these fashion events, then I find out about natural hair events from local YouTubers.

This photo is not mine I bought this item at a local beauty supply store (really can't remember the price).  This primer comes in a pretty small package (approx. 0.33oz) and has mild, sweet scent of jasmine. Missing Billionaires Went to See the Titanic?

By now, you would have already heard of the five persons trapped and missing in the Titan submersible. Three of them paid a quarter milli each to take an underwater trip to see the Titanic.  Social media is filled right now with jokes and discussions about the whole situation.    My issue really lies with the use of all this money to go on "Gilligan Island"s Three Hour Tour". IYKYK. This  news clip  from BBC's Twitter account relates a little about the Titan's situation.       The Titan submersible, operated by Ocean Gate. Most millionaires and billionaires are known for going on expensive adventures that humble plebs like me cannot experience.   However, this one seemed to be a bit more risky than the regular island adventures and s3x parties.
