This photo is not mine I bought this item at a local beauty supply store (really can't remember the price). This primer comes in a pretty small package (approx. 0.33oz) and has mild, sweet scent of jasmine. The product needs to be rubbed between the fingers before applying, as shown in the following video: Unfortunately, I didn't find this video until a few months after I started using the product. After I saw the video, I realised that I was using the primer wrong all this time. This photo is not mine The product is supposed to mattify oily skin and since that is my skin type, I put it to the test. On a hot day, the primer kept me matte for about three hours. It lasted through the workday when the weather was cool. I would not recommend this product for those with very oily skin. You can check out the product on the City Color Cosmetics website .
This year's awards show was held on Sunday in Los Angeles. Word on the streets? Many outfits were less than flattering. We try our best not to use the G word over here. However we saw many cute and stylish outfits, proudly worn by our ladies. We managed to choose 5 gorgeous red carpet ensembles from BET's event. This dark dress with a flattering neckline managed to turn heads. Applique was the name of the game for this short number. This dress was our personal favorite, body hugging and with a strategically placed slit. We would have preferred a less translucent look, but this fit was definitely worn with confidence. Her hair could have been in an updo, however we love the gold accents worn with this mindless. Who were your 5 Best Dressed Ladies?
The Hotel Normandie was the venue for the very informal Easter at the Market fashion event. Some of Trinidad's local designers showcased their most recent pieces as the models glided gracefully down the staircase of the hotel's lobby. These designers include Ecliff Elie, Delia Alleyne and Lisa See Tai. The pieces shown ranged from silky pops of color to dark, geometric patterns. Here are some designs: My time at the show was short, as I had other things to do that day. However, it was definitely time well spent at a very picturesque location!
Love all the bright colours. Nice purchases. Is this the one at Macoya?
