Review: Thrive Causemetics Infinity waterproof eyeliner

  I got this product in my Ipsy bag.  It retails for $US22 on Thrive Causemetics' website.

The first thing I noticed was the brilliant color of the packaging: a gorgeous blue box and stick.
The eyeliner stick also includes a tip that can be used to smudge or blend your lines. It has a slightly minty scent

The liner glides on smoothly and has a matte finish.

I decided to test the liner for long wear so the maximum time worn at one time was 11 hours. I live in a tropical climate and my main work area has no air conditioning unit.  Despite this, the liner stayed on, did not feather or smudge. It worked well during the sweaty times.

I would recommend this product for its durability and easy application.  This may not be suitable for the high glam Instagrammy type of sharp, glossy eyeliner looks that a liquid eyeliner may give.

City Color Mousse Primer review: Bargain beauty

This photo is not mine I bought this item at a local beauty supply store (really can't remember the price).  This primer comes in a pretty small package (approx. 0.33oz) and has mild, sweet scent of jasmine. The product needs to be rubbed between the fingers before applying, as shown in the following video: Unfortunately, I didn't find this video until a few months after I started using the product. After I saw the video, I realised that I was using the primer wrong all this time. This photo is not mine The product is supposed to mattify oily skin and since that is my skin type, I put it to the test. On a hot day, the primer kept me matte for about three hours.  It lasted through the workday when the weather was cool. I would not recommend this product for those with very oily skin. Missing Billionaires Went to See the Titanic?

By now, you would have already heard of the five persons trapped and missing in the Titan submersible. Three of them paid a quarter milli each to take an underwater trip to see the Titanic.  Social media is filled right now with jokes and discussions about the whole situation.    My issue really lies with the use of all this money to go on "Gilligan Island"s Three Hour Tour".
