Review: Bh cosmetics Take Me to Brazil eyeshadow palette (with swatches)

Image
I saw other bloggers talking about this palette and I wanted to get one with bright colors to try some Carnival makeup looks. This 30 shadow palette is made up of varieties of color wheel colors, i.e. different shades of red, orange, yellow, green, blue and violet. There are also black and white shadows. This palette was priced at US$15 on their website  www.bhcosmetics.com The palette is primarily made up of matte shades.  These mattes are marked with 'M' in the photograph below:                                               Here are some swatches: I felt that most of the matte shades were rather chalky.  I had purchased another Bh cosmetics palette previously but it was definitely of a higher quality. In addition, I also bought countless other palettes of different brands that were much cheaper and more pigmented. I had used the LA Girl Pro Conceal as an eye primer, but the shadow kept fluttering off and clumping in cer

Ipsy, Bh cosmetics beauty haul!

Image
I received my last monthly Ipsy packet and my order from Bh cosmetics in January          The theme for the January Ipsy bag:  Metropolis.  Maybe to promote some sort of 'street glam'                movement? Meh, I dunno. I've been gazing at this 'Take me to Brazil' palette for approximately one year.  Eventually I said to myself: Ah, just buy the makeup!     So I did.            Anyhoo, back to the Ipsy bag.         This was the card that came in the Ipsy package. And all the products, most of which I had never heard of before. 1.   Ipsy L34 Blend Beauty. Loving the lilac handle with the ombre bristles. 2.  Model Co. Peach Bellini blush. According to the modelcocosmetics website, this blush retails for $US 22. 3.  Mannakadar Beauty Fantasy 3 in 1 blush, highlighter, shadow. Almost rose gold in appearance.   4.  F.U.N. nail lacquer. A nice, shimmery nude gold mix. 5.  G

I had the pleasure of attending two services at St David's, Toco and St Ninian's Cumana. The services were led by Deacon Cheryl Mottley.  I decided to take photos of the scenic locations. 37547e2e1256228f9949ed02596689c3e39bd038b8c71279c8

Cara Mia liquid matte foundation review

Image
This product comes in a cuboid - shaped glass bottle with a black plastic cover.  I got it at a local beauty store.   This brand (Cara Mia) of cosmetics is manufactured in the country where I live (Trinidad and Tobago) and I enjoy trying out local products. The consistency is like a thin cream and is lightly scented. I wore this foundation approximately twice a week to go to work.  The testing period lasted three weeks. The results?  Oh boy. I have oily skin and I know I should stay away from liquid foundations however, I tried a couple other brands before this without much stress. Cara Mia? Every time I wore it, I became extremely wet and greasy after a couple of hours. The weather could be cool, I could be in an A/C building, I could add extra primer and setting powder - same results. I would recommend to those with dry skin, hopefully they would experience a different result. Thanks a lot for visiting my blog! Did you ever try
