How I clean my makeup brushes

Because nobody likes icky brushes.


Did ya know that dirty makeup brushes can aggravate acne?  Dirt, oil, toilet germs (eek) and bacteria among other things can be found on them there brushes.

Usually, I would wash them at least once a week and my method is shown below.

I bought these makeup brushes from Sacha cosmetics.


I use a mild soap like baby shampoo.  Anything too harsh may damage the bristles and shorten the life span of the brushes.


I use rubbing alcohol for the handle and ferrule parts, 


I put them to dry flat on some paper towels or napkins.

 This year's awards show was held on Sunday in Los Angeles.  Word on the streets? Many outfits were less than flattering. We try our best not to use the G word over here.  However we saw many cute and stylish outfits, proudly worn by our ladies.   We managed to choose 5 gorgeous red carpet ensembles from BET's event. This dark dress with a flattering neckline managed to turn heads.  Applique was the name of the game for this short number. Review: Creme of Nature Shampoo, Hair Milk & Curl Enhancing Creme

                          I have to admit , these Creme of Nature products have been lifesavers for my hair!  Since I decided to buy these products just for the heck of it, I don't regret my purchases.  These have been my go-to products for a little over two months and I am totally satisfied with the results.     1.  Creme of Nature Moisture & Shine shampoo.  This sulfate - free product lathers up well and rinses out leaving hydrated, clean hair. 2.  Creme of Nature Leave - In Hair Milk.   I apply this after I condition my hair and also as a daily moisturiser. 3.  Creme of Nature Pudding Perfection Curl Enhancing Creme This is the last step in my hairdressing routine.  As the name states, its pudding - like consistency keeps my hair moist so it does not dry out and get crunchy.   The label says it can also be used with heat to stretch out curls but I try to keep heat - styling tools at bay as much as I can.
